The shellfish commission will be doing "cultching the rivers and areas in and around Clinton Harbor. Cultching is an activity where shells from oysters or clams are spread on the natural oyster beds to help the propagation of oysters. Oysters need a shell surface to grown and the commission and its volunteers are cultching to help restore the oyster population. The commission has obtained a truckload of clam shell which it is distributing and would like your help.
